Alexander Bogomaz, Governor of Russia's western Bryansk region said the death toll from an alleged Ukrainian strike on a border village of Suzemka has risen to four.
Bogomaz noted that two more civilians had been found and removed from the rubble and that they were confirmed to have died in the attack. Two people are also being treated in hospital.
Earlier on Sunday, Bogomaz had said that two people were killed in the shelling.
