Leader of the State Duma party A Just Russia Sergey Mironov estimated on Saturday that the potential delivery of F-16 aircraft from the United States to Ukraine will not have lasting consequences on Moscow's military operation in the latter country.

"The possible transfer of American F-16 aircraft to Ukraine is a demonstrative step by the United States and will not affect the outcome of a special military operation," Mironov wrote on Telegram. "The F-16 is, in fact, the last weapon the US can afford to hand over to Ukraine. After that – only negotiations, or rather, the surrender of their Kiev protégés."

"It is clear that Washington's policy in the Ukrainian direction has gone into a tailspin. The transfer of not the newest kamikaze aircraft to [Ukrainian President Volodymyr] Zelensky will not be able to stop the Russian army, like in 1945," he concluded.
