Russia: Lavrov to meet with Wang in China

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov will meet with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi in the Far Eastern country soon, the department's spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated on Wednesday.

Speaking to reporters, Zakharova said that the preparations for the gathering are underway and that the dates will be announced in the forthcoming period.

During the meeting, the two will talk about the bilateral relations between their countries but also about their roles in the United Nations (UN), BRICS, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), and the Group of 20 (G20), and the conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East.
