Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov stated on Thursday that a new telephone call between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping is not in plans for the foreseeable future.
Speaking to reporters at a press conference, Peskov also commented briefly on the call between Xi and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, describing it as a 'matter of each of these countries and absolutely a matter of their international dialogue."
Reacting to Germany, Sweden, and Norway's decision to expel some of the Russian diplomats working in those countries, Peskov said that such measures reduce the possibility of continuing diplomatic relations. "And, of course, it cannot remain without some kind of reciprocity," he concluded.
