Russian Ambassador to the United Nations Vasily Nebenzya rejected on Thursday the possibility of "freezing" the front lines in Ukraine after a report by German newspaper Bild suggested the measure is part of Kiev's "victory plan." Nebenzya also told a UN Security Council meeting that "there will be no entry of Ukraine into NATO in one form or another."

Nebenzya claimed Ukrainian troops are suffering losses because they have "lost trust" in President Volodymyr Zelensky. "Without the West's direct entry into a war with a nuclear power ... Ukrainian troops will continue to retreat and suffer catastrophic losses," he said.
