Russia: Prisoner swap with US on agenda

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov revealed on Thursday that a prisoner swap with the United States is on Moscow and Washington's "bilateral agenda."

Speaking to the press, Ryabkov also insisted that the US must show more signs of its willingness to change its stance toward Russia before the two countries embark on a formal dialogue on strategic stability.

The latest prisoner swap between the US and Russia took place in August 2024. Meanwhile, Russia released a US detainee Marc Fogel.
