Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov (pictured) accused the United States of criticizing Russia's military operation in Ukraine to justify its own actions in the crisis-hit country.
"We view such insinuations as an attempt to demonize Russia as part of the hybrid war unleashed against us, unprecedented in terms of cynicism. ... First of all, the unrestrained militarization of the Kiev regime," the statement the embassy sent to the media read. "The US is supplying the Nazis with intelligence, training militants."
Earlier, during the Munich Security Conference, United States Vice President Kamala Harris stated that Washington "has formally determined that Russia has committed crimes against humanity."
