The Russian Ministry of Defense declared Monday that Ukrainian armed forces continued to strike energy facilities in Russia despite the previous agreement to refrain from such attacks.
"On March 30 at 19.37 in the Bryansk region, as a result of artillery shelling at a facility of Bryanskenergo, a branch of Rosseti Center PJSC, a high-voltage line was disconnected as a result of a wire break on a support, cutting off power supply to household consumers in Suzemsky district," the ministry said via its official Telegram account. It was added that Ukrainian drones also attacked a transformer substation in the Bryansk region.
"The continuing deliberate attacks by the AFU on Russian energy facilities testify to the Kiev regime's complete lack of commitment to any of its obligations regarding the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine," the ministry concluded.
