Ukrainian energy utility company Ukrenergo announced on Saturday that several of the country's energy facilities were destroyed in the attacks by the Russian forces earlier today.
Ukrenergo said repair crews will start restoration as soon as rescuers are done working the scene. It also said that the restrictions on energy supply have been forcibly applied in several regions of the country.
"The scale of damage is comparable or may exceed the consequences of the attack on October 10-12," the operator stated.
