Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov (pictured) expressed concerns about Washington seemingly admitting to supplying Ukraine with its long-range systems.
The ambassador's comments came in response to a statement by United States Under Secretary of Defence for Policy Colin Kahl in which he announced the Ukrainian military was being trained to use American HIMARS and MLRS multiple launch rocket systems.
"Such words can be regarded as Washington's intention to go for further escalation," Antonov warned. "This only confirms that the Americans have no aspirations for a peaceful settlement," he concluded.
