The Russian Consumer Price Index (CPI) declined 9.4% year on year in June, according to a report by the country's statistical office, Rosstat, released on Friday.
The figure observed a drop from May's reading of 9.9%, while on a monthly basis, consumer prices went down 0.2%. Meanwhile, the Core Consumer Price Index decreased 8.7% on an annual basis and slipped 0.36% month on month.
The report further revealed that food prices dropped by 8.42% year on year, while non-food products prices decreased by 4.47% and services prices were down 12.02% on an annual basis.
