The Russian Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose to 6.69% year on year in October, according to a report by the country's statistical office Rosstat released on Friday. The figure is up from the inflation rate of 6% reported in September.
Food prices rose 6% year on year, while non-food products prices climbed 5.08%. Services prices were up 9.92% on an annual basis.
On a monthly basis, consumer prices increased by 0.83%.
