Russia's Supreme Court is expected to discuss recognizing the Ukrainian Azov Battalion as a terrorist organization on May 26, according to a statement released by the Justice Ministry.
"The Justice Ministry informs the administrative case on recognizing the Ukrainian paramilitary nationalist association "Azov" as a terrorist organization and the ban on its activities in Russia has been scheduled for trial on May 26," the statement noted.
The Azov Battalion stands for a unit of the National Guard of Ukraine based in Mariupol, sometimes marked as neo-Nazi.
