Acting South Korean President Han Duck-soo was questioned by the police in relation to President Yoon Suk-yeol's short-lived martial law earlier this month, Yonhap reported on Friday. Han was interviewed along with eight other people who attended a Cabinet meeting shortly before Yoon declared martial law.
The police also questioned former Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun and Unification Minister Kim Yung-ho, although no further details were given. The law enforcement is working together with members of the Defense Ministry and the Corruption Investigation Office for High-ranking Officials on an investigation into the events that led to Yoon's impeachment by South Korean lawmakers.
