S. Korea's air force chief to visit US, Canada this week

South Korea's Air Force Chief of Staff General Jung Sang-hwa will pay a visit to the United States and Canada this week, Yonhap wrote on Monday citing officials.

During the seven-day trip, Jung is expected to meet with his American counterpart, General Charles Brown Jr., and Canada's Chief of the Defense Staff General Wayne Eyre to discuss security and arms industry cooperation.

In addition, the South Korean Office of National Security disclosed that Second Deputy National Security Adviser Lim Jong-deuk departed for the United Kingdom to hold negotiations on bilateral cooperation on cybersecurity and defense.
