South Korea's daily COVID-19 cases remained higher than 110,000 in the Sunday update, however declining compared to a week ago amid signs the ongoing coronavirus wave is subsiding.
According to the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA), health authorities confirmed 110,944 new infections and 64 coronavirus-related deaths over the previous day, as the spreading curve turned downward for the first time since late June.
