S. Korea reports over 6K new COVID cases for 2nd day

Health officials in South Korea detected 6,769 new coronavirus infections, Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC) revealed. After the newly registered cases are included, the total number of people who tested positive for the virus in the country reaches 719,269.

In the meantime, the number of critically ill patients was seen at 413, as 21 new deaths were registered, bringing the country's death toll to 6,501.
