South Korea's auto exports to the United States have topped 1.17 million units from January to November, beating the annual record set eight years ago, according to the Korea Automobile and Mobility Association (KAMA)
According to the report, this significant rebound comes after a period of decline in which exports fell to around 800,000 units in 2021, affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and protectionist US trade policies.
Exports managed to rebound thanks to swift responses by South Korean companies in light of the global supply chain disruptions and weakened competition.
