SAP SE announced on Thursday that its revenue in the fourth quarter of the year advanced by 6% on an annual level to hit €8.4 billion, while for the whole year, the company declared total revenues at €30.9 billion, up 11%.
In the fourth quarter, SAP saw an increase of 30% in Cloud revenues, reaching €3.3 billion, and for the entire year of 2022, the same area resulted in revenues of €12.6 billion, up 33% compared with 2021. Diluted earnings per share in Q4 2022 fell by 62% to stand at €0.47, while for 2022 decreased by 56% to €1.95.
"SAP is more resilient than ever. We end 2022 with continued strong cloud momentum and a return to operating profit growth in the fourth quarter, marking an important inflection point. Heading into 2023, this gives us great confidence in delivering on our promise of accelerating topline and double-digit non-IFRS operating profit growth," SAP CEO Christian Klein said.
