United States President Donald Trump confirmed on Friday earlier reports that the administrator of the Small Business Administration (SBA), Linda McMahon (pictured left), is leaving her post to join the board of a pro-Trump Political Action Committee (PAC), America First. The departing official was present at the press conference with the president at Mar-a-Lago, Florida.
Before shifting to politics, McMahon has been the CEO of a sports entertainment company World Wrestling Entertainment, which is when she first met Trump. The company she co-founded with her husband has made donations in millions to the Donald J. Trump Foundation.
US president said that SBA, a federal government agency that supports small businesses, will receive a new administrator "in the very short distance."
