Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Saturday announced that Israel and the Palestinian branch of Hamas will continue to exchange captives as previously agreed.

The exchange will see the release of 39 Palestinian civilians, 13 Israeli captives from Gaza, and seven foreigners.

Prior to this announcement, negotiations had faced challenges, leading to a pause in the exchange. However, the intervention of Qatar and Egypt reportedly proved instrumental in overcoming these hurdles, ultimately facilitating the release of individuals from both sides.
