Sainz takes pole for Formula 1 Mexico Grand Prix

Ferrari's Carlos Sainz will start the Mexico Grand Prix on Sunday from the pole position after triumphing in the qualifying round on Saturday.

Max Verstappen, the overall leader in driver standings, came second with a 0.225 seconds gap between him and Sainz. McLaren driver Lando Norris was third, whereas Ferrari's Charles Leclerc, who won the United States Grand Prix ended in fourth place.
