Samsung chair emphasizes 'bold' investments

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. Executive Chairman Lee Jae-yong stressed the importance of "bold" investments during his trip to Malaysia, Yonhap reported.

Samsung SDI Co., Ltd. is set to receive an additional battery production line in its factory in Seremban, Malaysia, which has been in production since 2022. "We should not be focusing solely on short-term performances, but rather lead changes by rolling out bold challenges," Lee stated.

Lee also visited Kuala Lumpur to study consumer reactions to the Galaxy S24 smartphone, the news agency reported.
