Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. launched its long-teased Galaxy Ring powered by artificial intelligence (AI) during its Unpack event on Wednesday. The wearable device is equipped with sensors for monitoring users' health and fitness throughout the day.
The South Korean tech giant also announced new additions to its wearables line, with Galaxy Watch 7 and its first Galaxy Watch Ultra bolstering Samsung's goal to enhance digital health for users. The ring, which the company also referred to as a "revolutionary device," will come in three colors, titanium silver, black, and gold, priced at $399 apiece.
"The latest additions to our wearables portfolio integrate Samsung's most advanced technologies and innovations, enabling you to take control of your health and wellness with preventative healthcare solutions," Head of Mobile eXperience Business at Samsung, TM Roh, said.
