Samsung to provide EV batteries to Hyundai Motor

Samsung SDI announced a new partnership with Hyundai Motors on Monday to supply the carmaker with electric vehicle batteries.

According to the company, the deal is set to last seven years, and it will start in 2026, representing the first battery supply agreement between the two companies.

The battery maker also added that it will provide prismatic batteries made at its facility in Hungary.
