Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said on Thursday, during the meeting with his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu, that Spain supports the two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Sanchez stated that a "viable" Palestinian state should include the territory of Gaza, the West Bank and East Jerusalem, stressing that the establishment of a Palestinian state will contribute to a lasting peace. "Israelis and Palestinians have the right to live in peace and security," he said.
Furthermore, the prime minister underlined that the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza must stop as soon as possible.
