Saudi Arabia and Ukraine issued a joint statement on Tuesday highlighting their strong economic ties and commitment to boosting trade volume. Both nations emphasized the importance of overcoming challenges and fostering collaborative efforts through official visits, investment delegations, and joint projects, including those linked to Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and Ukraine’s reconstruction programs.
Priority sectors for investment, such as energy, food industries, and infrastructure, were also discussed, along with the exploration of oil, gas, and petrochemical cooperation.
This statement was issued after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky visited Saudi Arabia, coinciding with talks between the US and Ukraine in Jeddah, which include high-level officials from both countries.
