The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on X, formerly Twitter, regarding the attacks conducted by the United States and United Kingdom on Houthi targets in Yemen, urging restraint as the Red Sea conflict escalates.
The ministry said Riyadh is following the military operations taking place in the Red Sea and Yemen with "great concern," stressing the need for the de-escalation of events.
Saudi Arabia acknowledged the necessity of the freedom of navigation in the Red Sea, saying any limitations imposed upon it are harmful to the interests of the entire world, and yet the country also insisted on restraint when it comes to these matters in light of the ongoing regional conflict.
