Saudi budget carrier Flynas signed a $3.73 billion agreement with European planemaker Airbus SE to buy 30 aircraft, according to a report published by state media on Monday.
The purchase comes hours after Saudi Arabia's Investment Minister Khalid Al Falih told the France-Saudi Investment Forum in Paris that Flynas was expected to make the order soon.
Saudi Arabian and French companies and government agencies signed over 20 collaboration agreements during the forum in the sectors such as energy, manufacturing, waste management, and aviation.
