Schumer: Trump, Vance doing Putin's dirty work

United States Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer accused on Friday President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance of "doing" Russian head of state Vladimir Putin's "dirty work" by insisting that Ukraine must make certain concessions to Moscow to achieve peace.

"Senate Democrats will never stop fighting for freedom and democracy," Schumer tweeted.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's visit to the White House turned out to be short, with the two leaders not seeing eye to eye on how to solve the conflict in the Eastern European country. The argument resulted in Zelensky leaving early and him and Trump not holding a press conference.
