Seoul says Pyongyang's soldiers cross inter-Korean border

South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) said on Tuesday that about 10 North Korean soldiers crossed the Military Demarcation Line, entering the demilitarized zone.

The military further said that it immediately made warning broadcasts and fired warning shots, and North Korean soldiers moved to the North's territory.

"We are closely monitoring the North Korean military's movements and taking necessary measures in accordance with operational procedures," the military added.
