ServiceNow's COO resigns after hiring probe

ServiceNow Inc. revealed on Wednesday in its earnings report that following an internal investigation, its Board of Directors determined that the company's policy was "violated regarding the hiring of the former Chief Information Officer of the US Army."

While the CIO departed the business, ServiceNow also mentioned that President and Chief Operating Officer CJ Desai would resign from all positions, effective immediately.

Chris Bedi, a veteran of the company, was chosen to serve as interim Chief Product Officer.
