Shanghai Stock Exchange probing transaction delays

The Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE) issued a statement saying it is investigating the slow confirmation of stock transactions found after the opening of the morning session on Friday.

The exchange said it identified an "abnormal situation" related to transaction delays after a number of investors reported the issue.

No further details were immediately available.
