Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum reported having a telephone conversation with US President Donald Trump earlier where they discussed trade-related matters.
"We moved the conference because we had a call earlier with President Trump, we are still talking about trade issues, nothing in particular ... We're still negotiating," said at the morning press conference on Thursday.
Mexico's Economy Secretary Marcelo Ebrard departs for Washington on Friday for additional talks.
