Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal told Cadena SER in an exclusive interview on Thursday that Moscow's latest negotiation offers are "unacceptable," as they demand Ukraine’s full surrender. "Russia proposed talks with no conditions, except total capitulation," he said. "They don’t just want to keep the territory they've occupied by force, they also demand more land Ukraine still controls. That's impossible for us to accept."
Speaking from the UN summit in Seville, Shmyhal reaffirmed Ukraine's readiness to resist Russia's invasion for as long as needed. "We are the victims. Wouldn't you defend your home if attacked? We'll protect ourselves and Europe's southern frontier," he said.
He added that Ukraine remains open to peace talks but only under UN principles and respect for territorial sovereignty.
