Russia's Security Council Secretary Sergey Shoygu on Monday expressed Moscow's readiness to build a "constructive" and "political" dialogue with leadership in Afghanistan, RIA Novosti reported.
"Over the past 12 months, more than 1,200 tons of humanitarian aid have been delivered to Kabul through bilateral channels, as well as within the framework of the Russian Federation's main contribution to the UN World Food Programme," Shoygu stated.
Shoygu also shared that during his visit to Afghanistan's capital city of Kabul, he held discussions concerning bilateral economy and security. Earlier today, Shoygu announced Moscow's plan to remove the Taliban movement from its blacklist.
