Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu said on Thursday that Russian forces pushed back a Ukrainian attack in the Zaporizhzhia region. He claimed Ukrainian forces numbered 1,500 personnel and 150 armored vehicles, including reserve troops that were "specially trained for the implementation of this breakthrough."
Shoygu added that Ukraine lost 945 personnel, 33 tanks, 28 infantry fighting vehicles, 38 armored fighting vehicles, and three Krab self-propelled howitzers in the last 24 hours.
