Siemens exec allegedly among victims in Hudson helicopter crash

Siemens executive Agustin Escobar, his wife and three children were among those killed after a helicopter crashed into the Hudson River, CNN reported, citing a law enforcement official.

During a sightseeing tour of the Manhattan shoreline, the helicopter dropped out of the sky for a still unknown reason, falling into the river. Multiple calls were made to 911 and first responders pulled the pilot and five passengers out of the river.

Four of the victims were pronounced dead on the spot, while two more were pronounced dead after being taken to local hospitals, according to Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop.
