Sony Group Corporation shared on Friday that its sales in the second quarter of its fiscal 2024 came in at ¥2.9 trillion (around $19.5 billion), jumping 9% compared to the same timeframe a year ago.
In the reported three-month period, year over year, net income attributable to the company's shareholders soared 54% to ¥292 billion, while diluted earnings per share surged 57% to ¥48.06.
Operating income in the three months ending September 30 amounted to ¥389.3 billion, skyrocketing 57% compared to the same period in 2023.
