South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol warned North Korea against the use of nuclear weapons following Pyongyang's latest ballistic missile launch. North Korea also recently adopted a law allowing preemptive nuclear attacks if it is under threat.

"By adopting its nuclear arms policy into law, [North Korea] is threatening the survival and prosperity of the Republic of Korea," Yoon stated. "If North Korea attempts the use of nuclear weapons, it will face the resolute and overwhelming response of the South Korea-United States alliance and our military," he cautioned.
