The death toll in South Korea's wildfires rose to 30 and injuries grew to 45. Firefighting officials and regional authorities say that they have been brought back under control, though it will take several days for the remaining embers to be completely extinguished, Yonhap reported.

The fire has damaged 2,996 houses and more than 1,000 agricultural facilities, according to official estimates.

Yesterday, it was reported that fires reignited in the southeastern region of the country in South Andong, North Gyeongsang, after smoke was sighted in the area.
