SpaceX conducts 40th launch of 2022

Space Exploration Technologies Corp., or SpaceX, launched another 51 Starlink internet satellites to low-Earth orbit via the Falcon 9 rocket.

In addition, Spaceflight Industries Inc.'s orbital transfer vehicle Sherpa-LTC lifted off on the same rocket from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.

The latest launch was SpaceX's 40th this year.
