Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (SpaceX) plans to move its state of incorporation from Delaware to Texas, Elon Musk revealed in a post on X, formerly Twitter.
"If your company is still incorporated in Delaware, I recommend moving to another state as soon as possible," Musk stated in the post, doubling down on his promise to abandon Delaware after his compensation package valued at $56 billion was declared void by a Delaware state judge.
Musk also previously set up a poll asking whether Tesla Inc. should move its registration from Delaware to Texas, with 87% of the votes approving the idea.
