The world's richest man and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk underlined on Monday that SpaceX has "already withdrawn its request for funding" from the United States Department of Defense in response to the earlier report.

"To be precise, 25,300 terminals were sent to Ukraine, but, at present, only 10,630 are paying for service," Musk wrote on his Twitter page.

According to the report, the Pentagon was considering allocating funds for Starlink that would ensure a satellite communications system in Ukraine, after Musk explained he will no longer be able to fund Ukraine's terminals, calling on the US government to take over.
