The unemployment rate in Spain came in at 10.29% in the second quarter of 2025, declining from 11.36% observed in the first quarter of 2025, according to the latest workforce survey (EPA) released on Thursday by the National Statistics Institute.
The new data revealed that the total number of people unemployed stood at 2,553,100 in the reported period, dropping 2.18% year-over-year and 8.47% quarter-on-quarter.
Meanwhile, the total number of workers landed at 22,268,700 in the second quarter, climbing 2.31% on a quarterly basis.
