The Consumer Price Index (CPI) in Spain rose by 3.2% year over year in November, the National Institute of Statistics revealed on Wednesday in a preliminary report. However, the figure decreased by 0.3 percentage points compared to the rate reported in October.
The report indicated that the current level of inflation rate was largely driven by fuel and package tour prices in November, which decreased more than in the same month of 2022. The annual core inflation rate stood at 4.5%.
On a monthly basis, the consumer prices declined by 0.4%.
