British Prime Minister Keir Starmer confirmed on Tuesday that he will join other world leaders at the funeral of Pope Francis, who died yesterday. Attendees will include United States President Donald Trump, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and European Council President Antonio Costa and French President Emmanuel Macron.
The funeral for the first Argentinian pope will be held on Saturday, starting nine days of mourning. The process to elect the new pontiff will begin on May 5.
