British Prime Minister Keir Starmer vowed on Thursday that his country would continue to support Ukraine in its conflict against Russia. He also spoke of plans to deploy a "multinational force" to the war-torn country so that the UK and allies "are ready to support a peace deal when it comes."

During his joint press conference with French President Emmanuel Macron, Starmer noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin does not want peace, adding that the UK, along with partners, is "rallying more support for Ukraine" to compel Moscow to end the hostilities.
