Russia condemns UK backing attacks on its territory

Russian Ministry of Defense condemned on Tuesday the United Kingdom's provocations in relation to the conflict in Ukraine. The comment comes after the Minister for the Armed Forces of UK James Heappey told Times Radio that Ukraine should carry out attacks on the Russian territory, adding that such actions are "completely legal" as Moscow has been doing the same.

Any such attempt would immediately result in Russia following up with a proportional response, the ministry asserted. Defense officials further added that the Russian armed forces continue to stay on constant alert to strike back should the decision-makers in Kiev give the aforementioned commands advised by the UK.
