Sunak criticizes Starmer's speech

Former United Kingdom Prime Minister Rishi Sunak took to X on Tuesday to denounce current Prime Minister Keir Starmer's remarks regarding the country's future finances.

"Keir Starmer's speech today was the clearest indication of what Labour has been planning to do all along - raise your taxes," Sunak stated.

Talking about the UK's 2024 Autumn Budget, Starmer said that it will be "painful," adding that the country first needs to go through tough times before better ones come.
